Hodges Farm Wedding (Charlotte, NC)

I first met Kelly back in January at a local Starbucks. I knew from the beginning that Kelly would be a very easy going bride and that she was the perfect fit for Click Away!

Hodges Farm made the perfect backdrop for such a sweet wedding. We knew early on that there was a high chance for rain during most of the day, but everyone prayed for it to hold off just a little bit longer.. sure enough the ceremony came and pictures were over and still there was no rain. As soon as Kelly and Chris began their first dance (under the shelter of the barn!) the heavens opened and it began to pour as they danced for the first time as husband and wife.

One thing that stood out to me the most about their day was the love their family and friends had for them. While the girls were getting ready, a few bridesmaids talked to Kelly's mom on the side. The praise that came out of their mouth for Kelly is what friendship is all about. To be able to step aside from the spotlight, and speak highly of your friend, even when she can't hear you.. that is true friendship. They told her mom how beautiful Kelly was, of course on the outside, but even more so on the inside. What a sweet moment to be able to witness. Ashley and I just listened and smiled at each other because what we sensed in Kelly was true all along.

Proverbs 31:10 "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies."

Congrats to Chris and Kelly! Your wedding was a joy to be a part of. We look forward to seeing where the Lord takes you in this next stage of life!
