The One Where Charlotte looked like NYC…
This fall session in downtown Charlotte, NC has to be one of my favorites! We shoot in uptown Charlotte quite often for weddings, engagement sessions, etc, but I wanted to put a different spin on it. What if we made Charlotte look like NYC? It sounds crazy, but if you know me, I am a pretty determined person, and had to make it happen. As we all know Charlotte is growing at a rapid pace and really offers a lot to those who live and work here! I believe we, as photographers, sometimes overlook the potential of the space, because we lack vision. I focused on our objective, scoped out locations, picked out outfits with our sweet couple, Morgan and Ian, and we made it happen!
If this doesn’t inspire you to have a shoot in downtown Charlotte, I don’t know what will! There is something so romantic and magical about fall in the city. Don’t you agree?!
I plan on doing more shoots like this in our city that remind me of other places around the world! I wonder where we will go next…
