Where it all began…
We are so excited to fill you all in on something exciting we have been working through for a while now…
We have brought on new team members to Click Away Photography!
We are so excited for this next step in our business because we are able to serve more wedding clients, as well as family clients throughout the year!
Ludwing and I got to a point where we were turning away so many great couples and families that really wanted the aesthetic of our photos, but we were either already booked or just above their price point. We then began dreaming up a team…
We started to brainstorm who we wanted to bring on our team, and we knew that we wanted people who aligned with our values and with our dedication to our clients. At the end of the day, we wanted people who we could trust to deliver an amazing experience and product to our clients. We thought about doing an announcement and application process, but felt like we knew too many great options that we could reach out to on a personal level, so we did just that. So in February, we added Ashley and Taylor to our team. We quickly realized that they were a great fit for us and how amazing it was to have a team. Fast Forward to August, and we began the search for our two newest associate photographers. Laura and Emily came on to our team in September- we have been keeping this to ourselves for 2 months now! I am so excited to finally introduce you to them and re-introduce you to our entire team!

Let’s Meet the Team…
SARAH AND LUDWING
Sarah and Ludwing are lead wedding and family photographers and owners of Click Away Photography. Sarah handles client communication, booking, editing, and lead shooting the majority of our weddings. Ludwing handles book keeping and finances while second shooting weddings.
When I first started this business 6 years ago, I had no idea where it would lead. I had no idea I would be working with my husband or that it would become our livelihood. All I can say is that I am thankful for how God has used this platform in this way, to serve couples and families in an even greater way than we ever imagined possible.
My main responsibilities at Click Away Photography are handling the day to day tasks that come with a business: emails, client communication, booking, and shooting weddings/sessions. Ludwing’s main responsibilities are shooting along side of me, taking care of any legal matters pertaining to the business, as well as finances.
We live in a small town just outside of Charlotte, NC, and we spend most of our days balancing being parents and business owners (some days are better than others!). Our baby boy, Sullivan, just turned 1 year this month, and we are just so grateful for the addition he has been in our lives. In our down time, we love checking out local coffee shops, walking in our neighborhood or in a small town nearby, and cooking together (rare occasion these days!).

Favorite Hobbies: Is drinking coffee a hobby? We love trying different techniques involved with coffee, reading, and spending time outdoors

ASHLEY
Ashley is one of our lead wedding and family photographers, as well as a studio assistant with Sarah during the week.
Those of you who have been around here for a while, probably recognize this face. I approached Ashley in January of 2015 to see if she wanted to come alongside me and shoot weddings under Click Away Photography. Ashley became my permanent second shooter (although she was SO much more to me than that!), and we went on to shoot weddings together for about 3 years! When Ludwing and I got married, we decided to give it a go and try him out as a second shooter so we could spend that time together on weekends, and he has been shooting with me for the past 3 years now, while Ashley and her husband Jake work together.
When I decided to reach out to Ashley, I had no idea if she would want to jump on board with Click Away again. She has helped us out on several shoots and weddings over the years, filling in when I was not able to shoot, and she has always done a fabulous job. She is someone I trust with my own photos, so I can tell you that I trust her with our client’s photos as well. Ashley and Jake will be serving clients as a husband and wife team, and let me just say that they are an amazing duo!
Ashley and Jake are high school sweethearts, and have been married for almost 4 years now. They live in Huntersville, NC, with their two Aussie’s Cooper and Ollie and love spending their time renovating their forever home. Ashley enjoys finding antiques to add to her collection, as well as gardening and going for walks in their neighborhood with friends.

Favorite Hobbies: Antiquing (Going to estate sales and thrift stores) and Gardening
Favorite part of photography? Capturing the emotion and joy of the couple and preserving those same emotions and memories for years to come
TAYLOR
Taylor is one of our lead wedding photographers.
Taylor has been photographing weddings and families for 7 years now and loves that she is able to connect with people on a deeper level through photographs.
“I truly believe that photographs are life long treasures. They are so much more than just the day or just the event or just the milestone... They are memories that you will share with the generations to come. I am as sentimental as they come and I have lived through lots of big, small, happy, and sad life events... So I really know the value of a timeless and genuine photograph.”
She lives in Statesville, NC with her husband Jarred, and her two sweet boys, Wells (3) and Miller (1). She enjoys finding treasures at antique malls, and balancing motherhood and photography. Her typical day involves lots of superheroes, answering emails, hide and seek, meetings with clients, peanut butter and jellies, and computer work. That about sums up motherhood and working from home!
Taylor excels in her ability to develop relationships easily. That transitions into this work wonderfully, since communication with clients comes natural for her. She loves making clients feel comfortable in front of the camera, building trust and friendship that lasts beyond the wedding day.

LAURA
Laura is one of our lead wedding photographers.
Laura has been photographing weddings for over 4 years, even though her love for photography began 8 years ago. Laura is a calming presence on wedding days, and her clients love how relaxing and easy she makes the wedding day feel.
When Laura is not photographing weddings, you can find her with a cup of coffee in hand or strolling through Target (or maybe both!). Laura and her husband live just outside of Charlotte, with their cat, Jonas and love spending time with family and friends or just taking the day slow at home on their days off.
Laura is an excellent communicator and prides herself in being well organized (in life and on the wedding day!). She truly loves getting to develop relationships with her clients and being there to support and encourage them during such a sweet season of life.

Favorite Hobbies: Organizing and dabbling in baking
Favorite part of photography? Being a part of such a special and sweet season in someone's life! Just to encourage, support, and hype them up along the way. I enjoy getting to know each client and cultivating relationships to make their experience one of a kind!
EMILY
Emily is one of our lead wedding photographers.
Emily has been photographing weddings for 4 years now and loves that she is able to document special moments for her clients to remember forever.
Her and her husband, Mark, have been married for 4 years and just welcomed home their newest addition, Dean, just 2 months ago. On her days off, Emily loves being able to sleep in, while night time is her work time of choice. If she is not photographing, Emily loves sitting on her front porch swing, reading a good book.
Emily is the best at making clients feel comfortable in front of the camera with her sweet smile and easy going personality.

Favorite Vacation: Anywhere with water: the beach, waterfalls, etc.
Favorite Hobbies: Reading
Favorite part of photography? Being behind the scenes in special moments and being able to document those moments for them to remember. Having the ability to help people enjoy moments instead of being stressed.
