Asheville Mountaintop Engagement Session (Black Balsam Knob, Asheville, NC)
Okay, I can’t lie to you all.. as photographers we sometimes have favorites, and this session is definitely one of my favorites! This was my first time meeting Brett and Erin, and they were so easy to talk to on our hike up to Black Balsm Knob. The sunset this day was breathtaking and even though there were crowds of people, all taking in the beauty, we were able to find some awesome locations to shoot! This is actually one of the first locations we shot at with our friends Hope and Mark when we first started our business. It’s always a good reminder when you go back to where it started. So much has changed since then, but this spot remains a favorite!
When I saw Erin brought a red dress with her to change into, this photographer’s heart was all kinds of happy. I am usually a neutral kind of girl, but the way red pops in film is out of this world. What I love most about this session though is the couple in these pictures. Their joy and laughter around each other is contagious. Ludwing and I really had the best time that evening, and it was one of those days that just didn’t feel like work.
Enjoy a few of my favorites (it was hard to choose just a few!) from Erin and Brett’s engagement session in the blue ridge mountains.
