I am so excited to share some of our favorites from Nikki and Brendan’s wedding at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, NC. When we arrived at the country club it was so overcast and looked like rain- sure enough it did rain and storm for most of the getting ready time and some of the portraits, but thank goodness for that large covered porch on the back! Side note: when you are looking for a venue, make sure it has a good location for photos if it rains.

Right after the ceremony we went into family photos (how cute is their little girl, Blake?!). We went outside planning to do the rest of our portraits under the covered deck, until we realized it wasn’t raining anymore so we could actually go outside for some pictures! (Every photographer’s dream on a wedding day)

Everything turned out beautifully and I just love how these two interact. From the moment I met them and took their engagement photos I could tell they were opposites, but in the best way possible. Nikki is more reserved, but Brendan is the one to make the whole room laugh- including his wife! Isn’t that the best combination?! You’ll be able to see in the photos and their wedding day video what an awesome pair these two make.

We wish you nothing but the best Nikki and Brendan and we are so glad we were able to document such a beautiful day!
